Stalwart Seat
The Stalwart currently presides over the city

"The Stalwart is the city's official Ruler. While they don't hold absolute power and have very little political control, they instead possess a last say in many matters, and they maintain complete authority over the military in times of war and crisis.
Additionally, the Stalwart supervises the Districts more closely, and controls most of the city's combined resources."

Steel Lords - "Proud, Assertive, Self-Serving"
The Steel Lords are the aristocratic Elite of Stalward. Though, not too long ago they were known as the Copper Princes, who were the many workers and craftsmen who existed during the War of Independence. The Copper Princes rebelled against the previous Coined Lords, and took their place as the city's aristocrats.

Many of the Steel Lords consider themselves the city's saviours. They are known to don themselves in various forms of armour (preferably plated) at every occasion, and while it might come off as show-offish and decorative, most Steel Lord families are in fact trained in the expensive arts of war and battle.

As it stands, most Steel Lords have fled the city for their outskirts estates, to avoid the turmoil that plagues the city. Those few families who remain have vowed to help restore the city, though some of these families likely do it for personal gain too.

Owlguard - "Loyal, Militaristic, Stubborn"
Those of the Owlguard are one of the oldest Factions in Stalward. They were there when Umberhand founded the city, as his fellow Wayfarers, and they have been by the side of every Stalwart since. They value Loyalty above all other traits, and they ask it in return as well.

The failings of the previous Stalwart has, unfortunately, tarnished some of the trust the Owlguard had in the city's rule, and as such their relation with the current Stalwart is somewhat tarnished and must be mended.

As a Faction of mostly warriors and soldiers, the Owlguard are focused on promoting and developing the city's military, and they don't shy away from brutal means to achieve necessary goals.

First Builders - "Broad Thinkers, Entrepreneurial, Avaricious"

The First Builders are essentially those who made Stalward's core districts; literally. They are the architects and builders who designed and erected the city's walls and central districts. Additionally, they founded and still maintain the majority of various Guilds in the city.

Members of the First Builders are known to be planners and specialized artisans, and many of their members take roles as city officials and clerks. While the First Builders began as craftsmen, today they fulfill more administrative roles within the city.

Business and profits are main tenets of the First Builders. They seek to develop the city and its industries, but preferably with the goal of increasing investment gains for themselves. Primary members of the First Builders are various leaders and Guildmasters, who maintain the great plentitude of Guilds and businesses throughout the city.

Steelwardens
The Steelwardens currently hold 4x Voting Power

"Those who serve at the top are those of the Steelwardens. They are of the administrators, elected officials, or the aristocractic elite. Their families were here before there was even a city to behold, or they were of those that rose up among the many to become one of the venerable few."

Highwardens
The Highwardens currently hold 3x Voting Power
"Highwardens serve Stalward well as its officials, its clergy, and its watchers. They are of the higher citizenry. They are of the ones who safeguard this great city of threats from beyond, as well as from within."

Ironwardens
The Ironwardens currently hold 2x Voting Power

"The essential lifeblood that flows through the city's streets. As Ironwardens, they are of the many. They are the workers, the labourers, the masses; those who maintain the city as per not only their duty, but their proud creed."
